Board Member Jennifer Catino is running her 6th NYC Marathon

and raising funds for Brooklyn Girls!

Jennifer Catino is working with Girls for Gender Equity to engage Brooklyn girls in the NYC marathon experience, the joy of running and the significance of sports in optimizing girls’ health, growth and well being. Please support her RACE FOR BROOKLYN GIRLS this year with a donation to GGE.

In her spare time…Jennifer Catino is an Associate in the Poverty, Gender, and Youth (PGY) Program of the Population Council.  Based in New York, she develops and coordinates targeted adolescent prograns, primarily in Latin America. Prior to coming to PGY she was the Senior Technical Advisor to the President and Youth Programming at EngenderHealth, also based in New York. At EngenderHealth, she designed and oversaw a global program to improve health and promote the development of vulnerable young people. Catino has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is fluent in Spanish. She also enjoys outdoor activities, including marathon running and triathlons.
